HF & VHF Tube Power Amplifiers

This is a collection of homebrew tube linear amplifiers for amateur radio: HF amplifiers for the 1.8–28 MHz bands and VHF amplifiers for 50 MHz and 144 MHz. Each build has its own page with photos of the build and its main specifications.

The amplifiers are built on Soviet and Russian transmitting tubes that hams still find at reasonable prices: GU-81M, GS-35B, GU-74B, GI-7B, GI-46B, GU-43B, GU-72, GK-71 and GU-50. Single-tube and multi-tube designs are shown side by side, from compact 4×GU-50 amplifiers to 2×GU-81M builds rated at 2 kW.
